Clutch

Clutch

The clutch is a proper and essential part of the vehicles that are equipped with manual gearboxes. Its function is to connect the chosen gear to the transmission of the vehicle, with this action remaining connected to the motor system. Wheels, transmission, engine ... everything starts moving.

When we operate the clutch pedal to make the gear shift, a series of mechanical elements are set in motion to carry out this action. Actually, we are disengaging, allowing to change the gears without damaging the gearbox and / or the engine, since it allows to synchronize the whole set optimally.

If you notice strange noises with the vehicle stopped, like a persistent tinkle or crickets, come to the workshop so we can take a look. If you are driving and accelerating, the revolutions go up but the car has a hard time speeding up, as if it did not have strength, go to the workshop as soon as possible, because maybe you are running out of clutch or not properly adjusted. Do not let it be because this situation is not solved by your own will and can put you in a critical point of security, for example, when making an overtaking.
